call for panoramists

30 June 2004, 16:18 genre:    by mickael

I was just trying to publish a link list on the front page with my fellow panoramists, but browsing through the tens of links i gathered over the years I could not find many of you doing some action shoots on a regular basis, or providing a link I could hang to, why is that ?

Old stones are good but they are just dead stones and the future of VR does not lie only in virtual tours of exotic resorts. So until i hear from you this link menu list will remain short (not that i despise stones, but they add up to too many links and a links page for these is on its way). I’ll be expecting you…

Merci.

  1. Hi Mickael,
I’m not sure if that’s what you are searching for, but maybe you have a look at http://www.rundumadum.at/ru/ Shot during the concert for europe in Vienna (handheld).

  2. hi mickael:
i have a vr of a bullfight arena in mexico—shot during the day (pre-fight), but with added sound from the actual fights in the evening.
try: http://cheathamlane.net/workspace then navigate to the “mexico” category. enjoy!

  3. http://inanda.woofnet.org/

This the website of Mark Prins, a photographer (and journalist?) in Whitehorse, Yukon (Canada).

This is not a very sophisticated website and Mark don’t use QTVR, but the interesting point is he uses panoramas like early photographers used photography, only to show what is happening in this far place wich looks more or less like a modern farwest.

Perhaps the best place to go is to view his posts on Max Lyons forum, because there he adds comments!
